All niches are doing great with Reddit if you have relevant content and not spamming too hard.

This is really what it comes down to if you have your own websites. Brand marketing does well if you're big enough to have an in-house marketing team. Spread your promotion around multiple websites or stick to a post or two per day.

I never had a good experience with Reddit. I got my own subreddit and then it was banned the next day. They are too strict.

They just don't like you own the subreddit for profit. And most of the subreddit doesn't even allow posting comments. (I never post any link but still, they are too strict.)

Yeah but there are many such subreddits making money. You must have triggered something that it got banned right after creating. Probably your subreddit name or too much mention of your subreddit right after creating or too much members joining. Or may be the account you created the subreddit with was shadowbanned.

I imagine that is a highly moderated area. And if you try to push your products it will get reported fast by users.
You would have to provide real value to the community and find what works for others... if there are any others able to post links in your particular niche.
