False. Most important thing in crypto is price. No one comes for the tech. Exchanges want to make money, traders want to make money, holders want to make money. People buy crypto to become richer later on.
If you're in it for the tech... I suggest aws. They have superior databases than blockchains.
Nevertheless, imo HEX has superior technology than all the other DEFI projects.
1. No admin keys: No one can rug your coins if you stake them. You mint your coins, and only you decide the length to stake HEX. Let me know how many projects you know that have admin keys and can steal your money whenever they want!
2. Delayed gratification: This will replace Certificates of Deposit at the bank. The longer you stake HEX, the more APY you earn. If you stake (1 day - 5,555 days), you're locked in for that period. If you want to get out early, you will be penalized, and those penalties will go to other people that have stakes.
Average stake length in HEX is around 5 years.
Yes, some people have locked in their HEX for 15 years (5,555 days). Imagine if you bought Bitcoin in its first year, and locked it for 10+ years, AND earned interest on top of the $usd appreciation it has done since 2009!
3. No KYC: This is truly decentralized. No one asks you for a selfie holding your passport or ID.
