Hi guys,

I’ve decided to start my new journey which is a youtube faceless (or some other say, cash cow) channel where I will outsource almost all process from scriptwriting to video editing. I plan. All I will mainly focus on is to research for a good title/topic that is currently viral or trending and hire, manage and quality check the output of the team. I plan to upload 12-15 videos every month.

I am creating this thread to serve as motivation for myself, to track my progress on this journey and to accept inputs, opinions or suggestions from other members

here are my todo list:
1. pick a niche - done
2. Buy a monetized channel - done
3. Hire scriptwriters - in progress
4. Hire voice over artists - in progress
5. Hire video editor - not yet started
6. Hire thumbnail creator - not yet started
7. Research for good topic/title - done

For item 1, I already picked a niche but I won’t reveal it here for the moment. I believe that every niche has an opportunity. You just have to choose which one suits for you.

For item 2, I already purchased 2 monetized channels 2 months ago. However, one of the 2 channels got demonitized several days after I changed google adsense email. With this, I plan to upload future videos on the second channel. But in case the second channel is demonitized, I will continue uploading videos on that channel since it already has required subscription count then I will re apply after 30 days.

For item 3, currently I just hired 2 scriptwriters (project based) and I plan to hire more since I already have some topics lined up and all scriptwriters I hired are project based.

for item 4, I haven’t yet hiredVO but I mass cold contacted some freelancers on fiverr and some already responded

Hire Video editor and thumbnail editor - not yet started since the script and VO is not yet ready

so far I have ~20 topics linedup.

.
i will update this topic from time to time

i already do cashcow my one hit 200k. they can be hard to start but once you have the ball rolling its ez cash when you are pumping out evergreen content. good luck bro

Where is your journey thread

What do you plan to pay for 1 Video?
And i think you should set targets like i.e „end of the year i will hit 500$/Month with adsense“

good luck

Would love to see your success.

Thanks for your response. Quick update:

I will be hiring 2 more scriptwriters. I will have a total of 4 scriptwriters. The only dilemma I currently have is (1) how can I ensure that the freelancer will not claim the ownership or submit the same piece of work to his other clients and (2) how can I ensure it is not plagiarized.

For item 1, I hired freelancers where they disclosed they have other clients as well (working in the same niche as I am) and some are managers managing the channel as well. Not sure if I should overthink this since I have just started? Or should I have the freelancer sign an NDA?

For number 2, I plan to use grammarly or other free plagiarism checker.

Can I know what are your thoughts about this.

Thanks for sharing your channel stats. May I know is that all purely organic?

Since I have just started and have low budget, I plan on paying less than $40 per video. Currently I do not want to set any target since I haven’t uploaded any videos yet and I have really no idea how to set earning expectations. So far my only target is to upload videos ASAP to keep the ball rolling. Thanks for your opinion though

Good luck.

Where do you get the monetize channel?
I’m not sure if I am allowed to post it here but you can find it by just searching youtube where to buy a monetized channel lol. They have an escrow service to ensure that you wont be scammed. The only downside is you have to wait for a week before the account is transferred to you.

yeah purely organic, the channel is verified too and if you subbot or use any bots you are denied verification. it took some time to gain traction but i started to pump out evergreen content and the channel took off with suggested views

Do you have a budget, you mentioned that you plan to go under $40 per video to spend on script and production?
What was the reason claimed for removing monetization after you changed email? Or its a standard practice and you'll have to wait 30 days to reapply?

I'll be following, very interesting journey and you seems like planned it nicely, good luck.

Wow, that’s a hardcore work! How much time did you gain enough subs from scratch?

yes i have a budget. I have a full time job on an IT company and the pay is good to reinvest it here.

i have’nt really checked the details but I yes, I am allowed to reapply after 30 days. Thanks mate!

Good luck mate, I'm on the same journey myself. Currently have 4 editors, 1 voice-over, and 1 scriptwriter.

Quick update:

Scriptwriter: I successfully hired 4 scriptwriters. Almost all of them are really great! I have currently 6 done scripts waiting to be voiceovered.

voiceover: I have 2 shortlisted voiceover talents. I can’t decide which of them should I hire because they are totally great and suits on my niche. I will decide by EOD. And also, I am preparing some terms of service for them to accept when they accept the contract to grant me commercial and full ownership rights once I have paid them.

video editor - recently job posted. Plan to hire 2-3 video editors.

thumbnail editor - not yet started

Wow you’re just ahead of me with 1-2 steps. Wishing you goodluck on your journey!

Posting to follow your journey! How much you're planning to make with this in the long term?
