thats a horrible way of looking at it. why give in to them? $80? never. people just shouldnt upload to it. there is nothing that makes rapidshare better than the free catless sites.

Some of us don't mind supporting services that we use. Other sites may charge nothing, but watch how quickly your files go down and see how long most of those sites last without serious financial backing aside from stray clicks. If you had a premium account, you'd know they offer other services like direct downloads that make it well worth the money.

Hey, go ahead and use whatever you want to use, but the tone you used in your original post isn't going to get you far at all, especially when people are taking time out of their day to do something for you for free. There are a lot of people that agree with you, but there are also a lot of people who understand the value of having a premium account on Rapidshare.

If you really want to change the sites that people upload to, your best bet is to begin to upload and use a different site. When you see people posting in the member downloads section, mirror it on a site that you prefer. It just might catch on and certainly would be a far more effective and subtle way to get your point across.

good advise for making a difference. i just think that the only reason to pay the $80 is because so many ppl use it and the free version intentionally sux ballz so much that you feel like you have to.. which isnt good. as for the tone I took.. i wasn't pissed at the people uploading to it so much as I was just pissed at the rapidshare service. I can afford the $80 easy but im still not going to give into it lol.
