Indeed, thanks. Haha, I got impatient yesterday and just deleted all my pins and started again. Do you think scraped pins from pinterest search results work? because that is what I was doing, and those couple that got a few hundred were also scraped so maybe I just didn't wait long enough . I have made my own bot and using scraped pins is much easier for scaling purposes if they are not automatically penalized

Funnily enough I've been talking recently with a fellow Pinterest marketer about repinning...and the answer is, it helps a lttle but no where near as much as it did in the past. I believe there are two reasons for this;

(i) Pinterest have openly said that they are now favouring created pins over saved ones. Now that statement isn't directly referring to repinning, but it is a strong indicator (in my opninion) that they don't consider repins (aka saves) as important anymore. I would guess that it still features as part of their algorithm, a bit like backlinks do for Google, but probably not as heavily as perhaps it did in the past.

(ii) It's the old master-slave tactic i.e. have a master account that does the pinning and have lots of slave accounts that do the repinning. I can see evidence that Pinterest track accounts that repin from others...so they know if accounts are just there to repin. And they are quick to suspend accounts that they deem as just repinners.

If you do want to do repinning, then I would try to find ways of doing it as naturally as is possible (or look natural anyway...even if it isn't). I don't personally do repinning, so my suggestion is based purely on my opinion and guesses as to what might work. But it makes sense that you'd want Pinterest to "believe" everything was on the up-and-up when repinning.

I'm a "lots of accounts" and "automation" type of person...so my approach/strategy for Pinterest is creating lots (i.e. hunderds) of accounts and using automation to post to those accounts. Fair warning though...this appoach leads to lots of suspended/shadow-banned accounts, and occasional banned domains...so it's not for everyone. I am constantly testing and tweaking things like image variations/manipulation, descriptions/spintax, target URL variations etc...so it's hardly a hands-off approach. I keep meaning to try the "one manual account" approach...but it's just so against my nature

Do you mean you can't find the website? The banner in my signature is hyperlinked, so that'll take you to the website. If you meant you couldn't find it by googling it...bear in mind it was "Social Multiplier" when JL created it (I added the pro when I took over...because socialmultiplier.com was taken, but socialmultiplierpro.com was still available). If you Google "social multiplier + jonathan leger" you'll see some of the old reviews and YouTube videos from back when it was originally created...approx. 2015/2016).
