I'm no productivity guru but thanks to several of these hacks and ideas I have run into that have helped me plenty of times.
Which is one of your hacks that made your life simpler/more productive?
Here's mine:
The rule of 72.
If you have invested some money at some compound interest rate, say x% per period, then it will take nearly 72/x periods to get your money doubled!
eg. If the compound interest rate is 10% per annum, it would take nearly 72/10 = 7.2 years for your money to be doubled. It is useful to get a rough idea about the gravity of interest rate instantly.
