Google favoring Websites with Google Adsense

This has definitely been an eye opener to me that Google is favoring Websites or Blogs that have Google Adsense on them.

I am in a spammy niche you can say, and I've seen most websites that outrank mine have Google ads on them. My websites get penalized often because of the niche I'm in, but my competitors rankings stick and they don't get penalized or deranked.

I am not sure if this is a proven fact that Google favors these sites that have their ads on them, but it seems like it is the case for me.

I may have to apply to run these ads on my Websites to see if it's true or not, but I guess it can be many factors.

Is anybody else dealing with this also?

this is the first time I am hearing a correlation between ranking higher and having adsense. is there anything unique with the top sites for your primary keyword besides adsense?

what is your niche at high level?

So your website gets penalized because of niche.

But in same niche, your competitors have adsense enabled website and are ranking.

Seems problem is with your website not niche.

A successful Youtuber in the travel niche with 260K+ subscribers told me not long ago that Youtube favors videos that run AdSense...

Idk if there's any correlation but it's def something that got me wondering...

There's no incentive for them to push your video/blog if they're not making money on it... I don't how true it is...

Not really, the top sites look spammy. Repetitive titles, content, etc. My niche is apps/downloads/apks. All of my sites have unique content and look better.

I'm not sure if it gets penalized just because of the niche.

My competitors get penalized, but it takes a lot longer for them to. One of them got penalized while running Google Adsense, but they copy their contents to a new expired domain and run Google Adsense again and they instantly get ranked first again.

My layout is pretty much: 400-600 word Article -> Money page -> Affiliate link
