[Question] Does a (Mouse Middle Click) That Opens In a New Tab Count? (link juice)

(scrolled through the forums, couldnt decide where to place this, so lounge it is then)
So long time lurker here of a few months, I had to log in for this question lel.

So, as the title says, it could be a simple question... but all my googling and searching on even Bing too, but I can't find the answer.

I can't seem for the life of me to grasp what keyword I'm looking for...
(I know keywords are KEY just by lurking here lol)

I originally came to this question as a tech-savvy web user, but as I grew more curious about internet marketing, SEO, etc.
I wondered whether if (middle mouse clicks) were tracked as a valid click?

Even right-click> menu> open in new tab. Does that also count as valid link clicks?

Is it tracked with the referrer source?


I'm lacking in super technical knowledge, that's why I decided to ask here since it's been bugging me, but I haven't done any experiments myself...

So any slightly detailed explanation would be incredibly helpful, although it might seem the question is a small one.

A right-click > open new tab is certainly a valid click, it's just the same as if the link had a target="_blank" attribute. I can't say I tend to middle click things, but it seems to have the same effect.

so, also to clarify... left click, open in new tab, and middle click all count as valid clicks...
