Dancing or..?

I got a site... it was on page 12 or so.
After doing some customized backlinking, my site flew to first position. Yes, FIRST position. Suddenly the next day, it flew back to page 10-12.

Why is this happening? Is it the G dance or?

I would think so, after all that is what happens when Google starts changing stuff. You will end up where Google reckons you should be when the dancers leave the floor.

There is another thread just opened on this very same subject. But, yeah that is completely normal. I had one of my new sites go from position 12 to 2 back to 12 in less than 2 hours. I would hold off on any further SEO until you see where Google ultimately places your site in the SERPS. You could be back in that 1st position very soon.

Yes, this is a google dance. Keep building backlinks and you will bounce back to the top.

It is quite normal, you need to build more backlinks and focus on quality theme related as well and you will see result, but don't do it all at once, take it slow...
