Does Redirects From High DA Sites Actually Work?

Hey guys

I see many sellers on sites such as fiverr offering backlinks from high DA sites such as Bild, vogue and other top european sites.

They basically find a broken link and buy the expired domain and create a 301 redirect.

My question is does this actually work or is it gonna get you a penalty?

It's fiverr....Google will know, if you have less then 100 posts, just focus on good content

Yes, it still works with aged domains like 1 year or above, and your backlinks profile should be well diversified. Don't try this method on a new domain.

I think that worth to pay attention to the relevance as well.
If such old links and expiried domain names you are picking up is from your niche category - that will be relevant and will help - if not I think that will not have effect you are expecting.

Of course it works in the niche! I got good results on one of my tech sites. But in the case of other niches, there is no good result

My domain was niche released and have few decent links from big sites (DR was 38)
After a week i seen fluctuations
