Hey guys,

Nowadays whatever I search on Google in English, I encounter such websites:

1624305050675.png
1624305059940.png

I did not dig deeply but some of the footprints I saw:

1- All use dropped .it domains
2- All use random subdomains. (root domains are mostly empty)
3- Almost all of them built on wordpress but static pages. (or somehow use wordpress themes)
4- Impossible to browse the content. You can only check it on webcache. All uses http redirect to some more shadier websites mostly with ref. codes.

Anyone else noticed this websites? It's getting really annoying. They rank stupidly good on low volume keywords.
This is the purest and easiest way to spam. What's the secret of this websites rank really well?
Just google something with more than 3 words and check the results. I can't be only one.

Yes, I've seen them.
I don't think they care because these sites usually rank at pages 4-5 for kw's with volumes higher than say 100k. Even 10k kw's push these pages down - it's not hard to beat them.

Plus only 1-2 people each day would see these websites either because they're so low SERP ranking or because people see one and go back to page 1.
It's a pretty decent indicator for the niche being decent for a new site, I guess.

You are right, great indicator. However they rank in so many keywords so basically it's quantity over quality.
What I want to know is, how does Google let these kind of websites rank, you know.
I'm totally sure they use a trick.

Nope. No tricks far as I know. Some make the landing page a reCAPTCHA (or at least an image of one), with the content two pages underneath the first/embedded below. Usually this content is just spam/spuntext with the occasional link to another .PDF - some of them are .PDF files themselves.

Anything can rank below pos. 40 or so. Especially for these keywords you're looking through, assuming they're low volume with no competition.
You could make a random site now, go through all the required steps for getting it on Google, and rank somewhere for some keyword, easily.

I am following those guys since 2019. or even earlier. And this method is still working. I reversed it whole, also find on some hacked websites (they are using also hacked websites) open files access and downloaded all their scripts.

Method is interested. Also they have interested way to connect and link different websites between, I am sure they have at last 10k websites every day active.

They are using script to submit random sitemaps to google and fast indexing content.

There was a anon guy who created google doc with all their websites and method explained, but he deleted that doc as I know. Not much people talk about this but this making milions with spam.

Pharmahack improved with smartlinks and push notifications as monetization.

Whatever you type in Google and chose 1 hour results you will find them in top10 results for sure.

If you go to the end of most long tail Google results you'll find these mass subdomain websites. I've also noticed they're on .it not sure what that's about but they've been around for years.

nothing new here, I never noticed specifically .it subdomains but creating mass websites/pages targeting low competitive keywords and cloaking them has been known and done for years
it's some method that does work and will always be working and some people are banking hard with it for years

can you guys provide an example of an actual phrase that you are searching where you see this?

how they metrics look like? is it trash too?

Google can't stop them. These sites have been around since several years and I don't think if Google ever gets smart enough to beat them. Some of these sites used to install adware and malware to host browsers to display popup ads everywhere. Now most of them are doing CPA with stuff like sweepstakes, get rich quick schemes etc.

Whole process is on auto that's for sure.

The things I can't answer:

1- Why %99 of them using .it domain? There are cheaper alternatives. There has to be a reason for using mostly .it domains.
2- I see no linking between sites when I check the webcache. Can you elaborate this if you remember the guy's doc?
3- I wonder how they host massive amount of websites.

I would say that they have some deal with domain registar and getting bulk expired domains. As I said its not only .it domains they are using other TDLs also, and also they are using hacked websites.

As you can see on mine SS before I posted they are fresh results, that's how they are linked. On hacked websites they have random few char anchors that linking on every refresh to 100+ different URL's and also they have sitemap links to different domains from hacked sites mostly that I found. So if user visit some of their pages that ping sitemap to google for different new domains. Something like that.

Try to get some of their websites, check as Google bot homepage or some links and you will find in footer or header links.

I don't see problem in hosting this network. They are clean html pages easy to host 100-200 websites on hosting like digital ocean with $10 monthly...

Just a theory but the subdomain part could be to increase crawl budget. 1000 subdomains might have a higher crawl rate than 1 main domain.

Cool method, I wonder how can they index these type of pages? Can anyone know it?

From what I can tell and I don't want to go into too much detail because this is in public and it's someone's income but he puts 2000 ish pages with copied and spun content on the base domain and then creates loads of sub domains each with 2000 pages. They all seem to be expired domains with no backlinks. He blocks (404) anything that's not Google and Google referred traffic and when people land from Google they are forwarded onto aggressive CPA offers with javascript popups etc.

This called doorway pages. Old trick that still works for some people. Their is software on the market mostly not in English but the big boys use own tools I guess. And it happened in all GEO not just in Italy. They cloaking google search bot and redirect normal visitors to cpa offers. I know this market for a long time but nowadays it take long time to rank. What you can see they start ranking after 3-4 months after register date of domain and last years more people failed the trick then win if you check their visitor stats with ahrefs. I am member of some telegram groups that are doing this and more and more people quick the game and move to other businesses. Btw I am talking of the people that use expired domains. Not hacked.
