Yup! I think he should be perma banned to stop further threads like this and the new trend been "can a mod ban me for x amount of time" really is ridiculous. Then the dude who created the thread about blacklifter then does the same thing, it's childish, pathetic and stinks of narcissism.

If they were genuine they would do what most other people do and just log off but instead they say they want space from bhw but they create a thread about it, what is all that about?

It's like they are expecting the community to scramble around them to beg them to stay. They are a small drop on a very big ocean but seem to believe they are special.

Next time when I have an office lunch I will ask mods to ban me for 2 hours and unban me just after to not come here... we can push this concept very far ...

All thoughts aside as to whether it is good, bad or ugly when someone asks for a temp ban, the Mods are here to serve and we all know that and are happy to do so.

Part of our billet description is to help the members and if 30 seconds, or whatever it takes, to temp ban a person as a favor for them is an issue for us then we needed to turn in our Mod cards.

I never mind doing it and I would bet if I polled all the other staff they would all say the same thing.

No rules are being broken and we are helping out a member.

Suppose if someone scam a customer for few thousand dollars, next moment he will ask for a temp ban and will keep an eye until situation soothes.
Customer will come and think he is already banned and leave. Then scammer will come back will do same repeated process. All this can be very dangerous

If you look at the usernames' title you would see the reason for a ban.

What if 100 members request to get temp bann in 1 day.
However if it does not take much time and its a good feature then only paid members should get such option
