You need to generate a API key in your account settings. And it will immediately appear on the same page. Save it and use

I did that by going to API when logged in. It does however show an API key with a bunch of * in it.

I tried that, but like I said, it shows an API key which is scrambled with *'s. I'd like to use your panel as a reseller

It now gives an error on log in as well: "
