it is more like shared google drive, dump all your unused files.

Don't keep any important files on these servers. These sites are not reliable. They may suddenly disappear tomorrow without a trace.
 
Better option would be to create or buy an edu email cheap, because you get unlimited storage from google... I use it and it's the best!
