Question about internal link

Hello there. All internal links on my site open in a new tab. How can I turn off the "open in new tab" feature in bulk?

you are most likely using a plugin that creates internal links automatically. If that's the case, go to that plugin's settings and uncheck the "open links in new tab" option... or whatever it's called

Hello there. Thanks for posting your reply. I have been writing articles for a long time. I place 1 or 2 internal links in each article. I made the properties of all these internal links "open in new tab". Now I want to turn this feature off. Can I fix them in bulk instead of going into individual articles and correcting them?

no idea if it could be done in bulk. I mean, it theoretically could, but what I wanted to say is that I don't know if there's a plugin for that. But, if you have 100-200 backlinks you can honestly do them manually. It will take you an hour or so, which is not big deal in my opinion

I am looking for the opposite. My internal links doesnt open in new tab, but i want it to open in new tab and I need to do that in bulk

SEO wise, it doesn't have an impact IMO. But for the user, it's obviously not the best... Personally, I only put external links to open in a new tab.

If you are using Wordpress, you should be able to change this setting by hovering over your link within your text editor, and update it there. Not sure if there is any plugin out there to do that in bulk

If you have Rank Math, you can enable all links to open new window and then disable them.
