Sitemap Couldn't Fetch

Hello Everyone

According to Google Search Console, my sitemap is completely broken starting from yesterday. Each time I check my sitemap I get an error message saying "Sitemap Couldn't fetch" & "Sitemap could not be read".
Did anyone of you faced the same issue lately? And do you guys know the solution for this problem, please?

Are you using any plugins for this? SEO plugins such as rank math, Yoast, all in one SEO, etc could create a new sitemap to submit and fix the issue.

is your sitemap accessible? do you use any plugin to generate it?
nobody would know with minor information and debugging needs access

Open your sitemap in a browser and check if it's loading properly.

Thank you very much guys for your answers. It turned out that it was a bug in GSC. Now it's working fine even though I didn't make anything special

Yes there's a bug in Search Console at the moment with the sitemaps. Been trying to add a few since last night and getting "couldn't fetch".

Has anyone managed to get past this bug yet? I've added, re-added and pinged the shiet outta my sitemaps and still no luck...... just Couldn't fetch error

Some bullshet article online says add the sitemap as https://mydomain.com/myblog//sitemap.xml with an additional slash at the end just before sitemap file but that doesn't work at all.
