Domain for Youtube channel

I'm looking for a Domain name for my Youtube channel..
does it need to be .com or any other can do the job?
do you recommend other extension?

You can use any TLD to redirect to YouTube.
Domain names which don't end in .com/org/co.uk are "less trusted" than the others, but it doesn't really affect SEO. You can also get some cool "vanity domains" with other domains, and they're usually a lot cheaper than .com

If you want it to be trusted, maybe go for a .com domain, then. You could also get a vanity domain name, link that, and use the naked URL of your channel as a trusted alternative if anyone wants that... But this kind of defeats the purpose.
