lol yeah hosting is a PITA often, especially if it's some budget shared hosting that has terrible uptime. WP themes and plugins are also time and resource hogs, increasing the number of HTTP requests, loading unncessary crap like emoji support on a business website etc

To be honest I can get fast speeds with A2hosting or Inmotion very easy but I would agree Godaddy shit or Namecheap shit or Bluehost shit or Hostgator unless you got a tiny website.
