Hate it or love it, shaving is part of the game in CPA. However, this nasty thing varies from one network to another. Here's the scenario:
I set up, as usual, a thank you page where the visitor would contact me through an email with a screenshot of that page. Once he/she successfully finishes the offer, the locker will redirect them to that page. Normally, once the offer is completed, which is the case here, the advertiser's postback URL notified the network and the locker opens; the thank you page is displayed.
Briefly, I received an email from the person who completed the offer and no lead was counted. This has happened SEVERAL times, 4 times this week and no sh!t is counted. Furthermore, that thank you page is set up as a goal in Google Analytics, and the data clearly show that the goal is reached.
Who's shaving in here? Isn't it the network? I might be wrong but how the heck is this happening?
