Ezoic crushed my site! What options do I have?

I recently joined ezoic last month.

I was waiting a long time to reach their threshold and was quite happy that they approved me. First there were dns issues on propagating my domain. It was down for 5-6 hrs. but I somehow got it to work on the next try.

As I added ezoic (with Leap/site speed included) my traffic started to slowly decline. I checked, rechecked the page speed with both GTmetrix and page speed insights and there wasn't anything bad. But, ezoic nameservers were doing something fishy,

One of my sites on AdSense has a score of 30 and hasn't lost a single ranking. There was way before June update so don't comment that BS.

My site was getting over 400 sessions per day and after keeping ezoic for 25 days, it came down to 180. I was shocked so recently I removed it. The kws are again going up both in Ahrefs and keyword tracker.

But, I don't have many means to earn now. I was really desperate for ezoic as this is my main site. The only way remaining now is Amazon associates and they pay pennies.

AdSense is barely profitable with 1 cent clicks on US traffic. My sites have almost 75+% US traffic and rest is from the top T1 countries.

What would you suggest to monetize?

If you think it's because of the Nameservers, You can switch to Cloudlflare integration with Ezoic, That's simple and the fastest.

Initially, I had issues with google tracking code after adding Ezoic, Double check this. \
Regarding the rankings, I think this has nothing to do with Ezoic. It might be Google dancing or an recent update, I am not really sure about this.

Was your revenue better with ezoic compared with AdSense. I found that ezoic paid me less than AdSense. Two, they never admitted that they badly affected my site speed.

I get pennies with Adsense in Weight loss niche on my other small site. 1 cent per click with US traffic lol

I recently tried joining Ezoic too and it messed up my site really bad. After switching to their nameservers, some times my site would take forever to load. Most times I'd get "Origin error" which is the same as 404. So far, my traffic has dropped by around 30% and I keep losing snippets and keywords by the day. Although due to the update that's ongoing, I don't know what to attribute my traffic loss to. But almost all my competitors are seeing serious gains.

The funny thing is that I haven't even set up ads; I'm still waiting for their approval. And it's been 7 days since I applied and I haven't gotten any feedback from them. So, I got mad and removed their nameservers this morning when I was trying to access my site and it kept showing me "Origin error". Maybe I'll give them a shot another time. Or I might just stick with Adsense until I grow my site to meet Mediavine requirements. Btw, I get around $16 RPM on Adsense sometimes. Nevertheless, I believe I can get x2 or x3 of that with Ezoic.

My advice, give it a shot again after the update, or try and grow your site some more and apply for Mediavine or Adthrive. Good luck!

I was using a shared host, and since I put ezoic on my site imunify360 was blocking it, and it was a pain in the ass. Since I switched to a VPS, everything was fixed (I didn't mention it in the conversation, since I didn't remember, and because the user above mentioned it xD and I don't know if those blockages affected SEO).

I hope this helps, but as I said, Monumetric is a good option.

There was no ad blocked on my site. Ezoic was working perfectly as it should and giving me an EPMV of $14-$15.

In my case, google doesn't like Ezoic obstructive ads. It may work for others though.

This site is a scam. They promised me double or triple the earnings. I've been with them for almost 3 months and I earn 30% less.

In support they tell me to wait, they have put all kinds of ads on me and it does not improve.

I have also seen a drop in traffic.

Tomorrow I will delete their DNS and go back to adsense.

It's not really worth it, Ezoic makes the website loading much slower and doesn't have a better payout than AdSense most of the time

Same for me, except I was using Media.net before and not AdSense(Couldn't get approved). Ezoic ruined site speed and the earnings were horrible. They kept saying that I just need to wait while it "adjusts". Gave it like 2 months, and it was awful.

I've been using Ezoic for a few years, never had a problem. Earnings have been consistently much better than Adsense.

You need to contact your manager. They have to fix it. It looks like you are having stability issues, and it's their end.

Contact them, don't waste time.

Guys, let me share my experience:


Ezoic now has a special method to integrate your website with their service, through adsense MCM, after I implemented, I think my earnings noticeably improved 50%-100% per day, speed indeed decreased a bit, but still got 80+ on GTmetrics, which is, well, not bad I guess lol.

So please consult a manager what is that method and can you use it, and what requirements you need...
