Yet another reason to not use Weebly:

Hard things to catch, plus WebVitals aren't showing right now. Yet another reason to not use Weebly: Every page has broken elements.

This is due to Weebly not allowing custom Robots.txt - or Sitemap.xml or Ads.txt - files on your own website. £17/month for this - do not use Weebly if you're looking to make a new website; it causes so many headaches.

lol I just created a blog post on weebly yesterday. Not sure whether you are talking about the paid plans, or about weebly in general, but I'd assume that for backlinking purposes it's not bad. I mean, I just created a blog post and will never touch that blog post ever again in my life, so I guess using weebly is not bad in this case :p

If you don't have 100% control, you don't own it.

For the past one week, I have seen many of the them saying real time problem and outages with weebly. I don't know why?
But I didn't see any issues regarding weebly.

This is for the paid plan (monthly - more expensive). I guess it works for what you're using it for, performs in that way. But running a website from Weebly is terribad tbh.
Good luck with your link building venture and dont come back to weebly

Well I guess I'll have to "buy" it back then, by paying for wordpress/migration. VPS for this soon, once my work gets me some money, which now I will spend in buying back the control and ownership of this site. I 100% agree with you.

Why on earth anyone will use weebly for a serious money site? Only reason could be one not knowing there is a thing called "WordPress".

Great catch. Never used weebly or other platforms like it and never will.

I agree to that.
That is the way to control everything by your own, make it static if required etc...

Im surprised that weebly still exists

I wouldnt run any money site on a web 2.0, even if its paid.

I used Weebly as a kid, for my first website. It went great.

This time around I stuck with what was familiar - but it failed, I'll admit. Times have changed, and it's time to move on up to WordPress and start getting even greater results for doing so!

Ask yourself, do I really need WordPress? It's slow. If you're not going to build something really big then maybe it's time to rethink using WordPress.

Sitebuilders are actually the way to go for many uses. That sounds weird because not too long ago I thought they were for babies. Now I don't think that way. You want to get as close to HTML and JavaScript as possible.

I've been looking at Gravity to replace WordPress. Gravity is a flatfile CMS.
