My SEO agency has a client in the credit niche locally (Latvia). Here are the changes in keyword positions in a span of 11 months.
With a good SEO budget, changes are inevitable.

Just happy about the results. Had to share :)

Damn. Straight up ranking!

This is one for the people who ask how you get these results in a month! :D

Congrats!

Would love to see a case study on how you were able to achieve this feat

In July we did an extensive SEO audit.

In August we started fixing technical issues and we we’re done by December. Everything was fixed - titles, meta descriptions, redirect issues, duplicate content issues, and many many more.

In september we started an extensive local link-building campaign that continues to this day. In the first 3 months we built about 70-80 links. All with unique articles on local sites.

In total we have built about 130 links to ~10 pages in two languages. All pages are services related to loans.

At the moment the site is in perfect condition technically.

Right now we still continue to build links each month and come up with interesting topics for blog posts to attract new keywords and traffic.

Feels great when things work out doesn’t it. There’s been an update recently so maybe that also helped.

The keywords been improving all this time since we started link-building

Congrats, those are great results. Good that you also shared your well planned process.

I love your threads man, they’re motivational. Congratulations!

Are 130 links all guest posts on local websites?

How much importance you gave to diversifying your links?

All are guest posts on local news sites and blogs.

We just created good-quality articles for each link. We tried to include relevant keywords in the articles to rank even more keywords, and to help Google understand what the article is about.

We didn't build any profile links and such. Waste of time.

Companies look at SEO differently. They're in it for the long run. You just have to explain at the beginning that SEO is a long process and that the first results won't be seen for at least 3 months.
Large companies have the option to hire an employee or an SEO agency. Those who don't invest in SEO are plain stupid. Because without SEO, they're losing business to the competition.

Just outreach to relevant sites. Ask for prices.
All of the links we built are paid. Prepare to spend a lot in a proper link-building campaign.
