Google June 2021 Core Update rolling out

Danny Sullivan of Google has announced a new broad core update has begun rolling out – this one named the June 2021 Core Update. Google added that we should also expect another update next month named the July 2021 Core Update.

I do wonder if this update will have a larger focus on CWV. I noticed in the May update that a lot of review sites with thin reviews tanked hard. Thankfully mines were based o products I know about so I say an upswing in the results.

I can’t remember where, but I read that Google are planning to target review style “best of” sites and favour those with buyer reviews (to the detriment of affiliate sites).

Maybe this update relates to that in some way.

no, they delayed that until now. maybe core vitals are included in this update.
