Bots Question

Hello all,

I am not very experienced in social media marketing but it is something I am looking into and I have a question that I believe more than a few people here will know the answer too!

If I have a product that I am looking to promote on the likes of Facebook and Instagram, is it worth buying fake follows/likes just to get started as not many people are going to trust an account with 0 likes and 0 follows.

Im not thinking excessive bots but maybe a few hundred just to get the ball rolling.

Don't grill me to hard if I am being dumb, I am no marketing expert by a long way haha.

Only for credibility that follower count gives.

There is no other real value of fake followers.

For a new business, I would buy few thousand tho.

Yes that was my plan just buy them for a new account, I appreciate the reply.

Yeah I am not looking for conversion, I am simply wanting to look more credible.

Hello, yes getting a bot can help, but what are your long term goals? If your building a brand or promoting someone else's products this process is different for both.

Building a brand, I am only asking just to get the account started as it doesnt look very good if someone has 0 followers.

All they are good for is appearance. Yes, they will help. But i don't recommend going overboard.

Yeah I dont plan on it, as I said in OP that I only look at doing a few hundred.

you may want some engagement as well, followers without engagement is pretty sketchy

I think we are all missing what are you asking for it seems? are you looking for a bot? or are you looking to buy followers and likes?
