Gore Site Advertising ?

Hello, I am sorry if somehow this isn't in the right category.
I'm working on a gore site.
My question is, how could I put ads on it to generate revenue ? From my understanding, most so-called 'adult ad networks' don't accept gore/shocksites...
Any clues, or perhaps suggestions ?

I don't have much experience with this, but I believe it will be very difficult, which is why sites like BestGore and LiveLeak are closing down.
If you want to have any revenue from the site, then I believe that selling some sort of a membership will be your best bet.

Either this, or trying to funnel the traffic to another site that's more legitimate where you'll be able to run legitimate ads.

hmm...good idea. When you said that, it reminded me of some kind of 'fake link shorteners'. For example, site X would make a specific page that would redirect to another page, the 'redirecting' page would have like 10 ads per page....wonder how they got approved for that.

How can you look at gore without cringing?

Moreover, what host do you use? Most of them don't allow gore.

I won't tell you what host I use, but usually you can go for the more obscure 'offshore' hosts in countries like Ukraine, South Koreea, Republic of Moldova etc

Why not go to your competitors and look at what ads they are placing on their sites? View-source and investigate the ad tracking code(s).

I did this. They use cancerous ad networks that have 10 pop ups per click. I just want a simple banner, not annoying my users

Chances are good that they are using these shitty adnetworks because no advertiser wants to see its product next to dismembered peoples, so your only option is trashy ads.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like an easy task. Most of the material gets deleted and banned. Also, I'm almost 100% no network wants to advertise dismembered humans and similar content. Honestly, I'd stay away from it as it'll lead to nothing else but ban.

Don't worry about it mate, I frequent these kind of sites/forums, I don't see a problem with it, I believe most users know how it works and it's not a problem

Other gore sites are your best bet.

Make sure you mention on your site all content is for documentation purposes only, not for the purpose of enjoying gore. If my memory's not failing me, BestGore was blacklisted from Google because they didn't do that.

Don't know what your level in IM is, but know that search engines are your best friends in terms of traffic.
