Is homeopathy scam ?

From personal experience, I can say that it did help me. Those little pills must be good since I was feeling much better after a few months.

It's all placebo, some might say. Well, listen, even if it is, it made me feel better so I don't care.

It's a big scam. It's nothing but placebo effect.
Dont know why people believe non scientific things, except modern medicine which is evidence based medicine others are not proved if they prove it ,it will become real medicine and get accepted by all and used widely

Homeopathy defies Avogadro's number. It's nothing but a cult. Hope people will realise this someday.

Recently accompanied a relative of mine to a homeopath ,the concepts they say looks scam ,they dilute modern medicine pills into water and keep on diluting and they say the more you dilute the more it gets concentrate ? WTF ? its very shocking me as the more you dilute the more it gets diluted ,he was saying water has memory etc, what do you think about diluting things ? lets say i put a blue ink into 100ml water the colour will be blue,if i take 1 ml of that and dilute in 1000 ml ,it will get further dilated and the colour will go away right ? and if i take 1ml from that and diluate into another 1000ml ,mostly the colour will be gone .anyone here took homeopathy ?

Who ever told yu this really need a slap on his face. Homeopathy medicines are not made after diluting modern medicine.

Not sure if it's a scam or not but I started drinking alcohol from there.

I'm very experienced with that stuff bc. of my upbringing. It is a complete scam for the people who sell it (and sometimes some nutcases also believe in it but i see them more like customers.) The ones who buy homoeopathic stuff think that they are doing something effectively for their body and have a psychosomatic effect. This placebo effect is also very effective with kids, when they are hurt somewhere and can't sleep you give them some sugar drops and tell them its medicine. Homoeopathy doesn't exceed the placebo effect.

the scam is the price. As Gaga said, drops of sugar water given with conviction are enough to activate this placebo effect.

You said right, WTF

Yes, they do put sugar balls in may be 100% alcohol.

If you are unable to see it's a complete scam with absolutely no basis other than placebo you're critical thinking skills are pathetic. It's as simple as that. How some adults still believe that anecdotal evidence is strong evidence is beyond me.

Lesson learned ,Homeopathy is for dogs not for humans )
What problem in your dogs eye?
Even in human, eye problem is not that dangerous. Unless you have diabetes or glaukoma, most eye problem can be cured by medicine and surgery

I don't think it's a scam and not even wanted to. I would prefer Homeopathy to my kid's normal seasonal diseases than going with Allopathy.
I have personal experiences from Homeopathy as well.
Its not a scam.

Doctors who are practising modern medicine wants to brand Homoeopathy as a Scam. They are doing the same for Ayurveda as well. Why? Another conspiracy just like David 19.
