I`m looking for backlinks for Bulgarian and Spanish markets. What are the best ways to go about it?
I have tried looking for digital media agencies and looked at competitor referring domains.
What else can I try?

The same apply as any other market... check your competitor backlinks, look for certain footprints in the given language, ...

Navigate to Link Explorer.
Enter your competitor's URL.
Navigate to the "Inbound Links" tab.
Export backlink data into .csv
Compile backlink .
Sort all backlinks by Page Authority.
Review all linking sites for opportunities.

I onced tried buying in seo clerks but since then my domain ocassionally gets spammed with strange pingbacks. I don't recommend buying from strange sellers. Regardless, you can try looking for websites with dead links, then ask the owner of those websites if they can replace those deadlinks with your domain
