Shadowbanned for browsing using VPN/Proxies?

Has anyone encountered this issue? Whenever a new (or even somewhat aged) Reddit account browses or posts on a proxy IP or VPN, Reddit automatically shadowbans it. If I browse on my REAL IP, the account is not banned. I tried to appeal and half of those accounts had their bans lifted when admins said "it was a mistake on our part due to bot detection" (something along those lines).

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how do you browse/post on a Reddit account using a proxy IP without getting shadowbanned? I didn't try to spam or troll. It was just a simple post.

Reddit implementing some changes and reverting back. They are testing basically and even older accounts are getting banned / shadowbanned too. They are building some traps as well.

they are improving and testing things here and there, as long as you don't get a ban it shouldn't be anything major just just try a different vpn or stick with normal IPs

Well, there are some general principles when IP matters and which I faced myself:
1. Webrtc leak
2. Non-residential proxy/vpn are easily detectable

Are your proxies residential? How frequently are you making posts? Do your accounts (if you have multiple accounts running) have common posts? These are some of the questions you could ask to figure out if it's a setting error or Reddit is changing anything on their end.

Hmm so do you know exactly what triggers these shadowbans? I mean you're probably an expert at Reddit's algorithm.

Yeah I used a VPN for browsing Reddit. I guess they're non-residential then. Are there even VPNs that exist as residential IPs so I can browse Reddit without losing my account? And no none of my accounts have common posts.

I lost 60 accounts because of this. Reddit seems to be doing a lot of blanket IP bans of late - - a really dumb thing to do, tbh, I've been reading complaints by legitimate redditors of how their entire family can't use reddit anymore because their home IP was banned. Just sounds to me like Reddit is too cheap to implement actual browser fingerprinting.
The solution IMO is rotating mobile proxies. Nothing else seems to cut it anymore.
