Recently accompanied a relative of mine to a homeopath ,the concepts they say looks scam ,they dilute modern medicine pills into water and keep on diluting and they say the more you dilute the more it gets concentrate ? WTF ? its very shocking me as the more you dilute the more it gets diluted ,he was saying water has memory etc, what do you think about diluting things ? lets say i put a blue ink into 100ml water the colour will be blue,if i take 1 ml of that and dilute in 1000 ml ,it will get further dilated and the colour will go away right ? and if i take 1ml from that and diluate into another 1000ml ,mostly the colour will be gone .anyone here took homeopathy ?

Here in India - Homeopathy is legal.
Qualified persons can open Homeopathy Clinic after getting license from the Government.

My friend lives nearby such Clinic - and he has taken treatment in the past.
One thing I have noticed is that the medicines there smell badly - you can smell bad odour when you go nearby that Clinic.

Yes, it is.

Strange stuff
Does it has anything to do with psychology?

Yes it is a scam
It is also banned in some countries
The core concept itself looks like scam

I can see in lots of developed countries it is banned ,don't know why its not banned in India yet

I have taken them . It works for mild fever and skin problems . It causes no complications or irritations but not works for everything like allopathy. Those liquids are extracts from plants herbs etc

IIRC one of the funniest things about homeopathy is "the more dilute it is, the stronger" - - so if you take too little, you can overdose on it.
IMO it's placebo, and just goes to show how well placebo works. The fact that things like homeopathy works is a great lesson in marketing, more than anything else, to me it's an example of how far people are willing to trust YMYL decisions on anecdotal evidence and social feedback instead of logic.

Homeopath does work, just not how they claim it does. "Believes can move mountains" is widely known and every pharmaceutical study proves the placebo effect.
So you can cure someone with just giving them sugar. The more complicated you do that e.g. homeopathy, the more likely it is to work. So you make a show for their subconscious mind which in turn believes it is medicine and starts healing.
Most homeopaths do not know this and are very convinced of what they do because they see that it works. This of course also helps to convince their clients further.

Hope that explanation makes sense. There is a good documentary about stuff like this called "heal"

I seldom take allopathy medicine, mostly homeopathy and ayurveda. Needless to say got relief everytime and in some cases, got completely cured.

Allopathy is a slow poison, homeopathy is complete natural and addresses the root cause, thus have the ability to cure diseases.

the more you dilute the more it gets concentrate ? Homeopath is straight scam, ayurvedha is not proven ,if its proven in some drug trials sure it will be welcomed.

In India most of homeopathy doctor write prescription of modern medicines, government hunting those doctors and make severe legal against them but still people prefer them as they get treatment for low cost for small diseases.

I Don't think its a scam,

Homeopathy works but it takes some time, you have to follow a strict diet when considering homeopathy. Also for some certain conditions, it provides a permanent cure. English medicines are good for quick relief and treatments

I know a guy who has Rheumatoid arthritis, he took English medicines for about 2 years but occasionally he faced the same issues during winter times, taking cold drinks, etc., so then someone advised him to consider Homeopathy, now he is doing well. I met him quite often and ask about his health condition, he says now he is doing well and taking care of himself without any issues as previously he has a caretaker 24/7 with him for daily needs.

But the catch is finding the best homeopathy doctor to examine properly

Scams are done by uncertified clinics they don't know what they are doing, that doesn't mean homeopathy doesn't work

Scam has popped out of your brain. Its an alternative and natural treatment. There are 1000s of cases who got cured from it. I am one of them.

I had tinnitus since childhood. No allopathy medicine could even gave me relief when taking homeopathy medicine for only 3 months not only gave me relief but completely cured it.
It was life saving. It was a talk of 5 years ago. I am still tinnitus free.

When you know nothing about something, better keep mum.

I question the core concept of diluting things ,gets more diluted only ,not getting concentrating
There is larger and bigger scams are going on with allopathy
Sure lots of pharma companies are looting from people ,but modern medicine has evidence based medicine ,backed by evidence and proofs homeopathy has been proven wrong many times and banned in many countries

Mate ,you took things seriously, all i question the core concept how it works ,you either avoided or missed the question the more you dilute a substance the more it gets diluted not concentrated, I'm glad that your ear problem got fixed, probably due to placebo effect?
