yea.....we're all energy, everything is. That means there's no technology yet to convert 3d brain to energy waves and convert it again to uploadable electronic storage.

It will be possible but requires hardware that we do not have. yet.
I remember reading a scientific paper about brain simulation, regarding fruit flies, so we have made some first steps regarding this.
We just need way bigger hard disks and more processing power than we have now.
Think of it as of first TV's or first mobile phones. I'm sure someone said, "I wish displays had colors, how cool that would be.." Now you can touch things on your phone and play 3D video games. Only 10-15 years ago that would be a mind-blowing experience.

Yes, very possible actually, in (don't remember the year) scientists uploaded the brain of a worm into a worm robot and it actually worked, Not they only uploaded 10000 neurons and it took them years, now imagine counting the connections of 100 Billion Neurons, it would take eternity so that's your first problem, the second thing is hardware and energy , If we would like to simulate a human brain into a computer it would take a computer the size of the sun and(current technology 2021) and so much energy it would need all of the suns energy, so the human brain is only 15W to put that in perspective that's 1 neon lightbulb, the efficiency is mind-bending, trying to simulate a brain to a computer today is like ant dreaming to land on Mars, Type 2 and Type 3 civilization will be the time(if humanity lives until then) but naaahhh , we are too stupid

with 86 billion neurons connected in intricate ways, the brain is much more complex than a computer, and not yet fully understood.
also how would you download it exactly? it does not follow the structure of a computer.
