Fuck governments are wankers.
I know quite a few Iranians, they hate their government for many things including shooting down a commercial plane.
As if they wouldn’t ban mining. They only care about power and control anyway.

I think could be because electricity is subsidised???
Anywhere electricity is subsidised banning bitcoin mining make sense.

I laughed. They don't want to mine bitcoin but have no hesitations in using there energy to produce nuclear weapons. Double standards.
I guess when it came down to bitcoin and nuclear won. this is why they are in the mess they are today.
There is also an interesting article on how Iranians have managed to convert oil to bitcoin aswell if you search for it

You can see why they are in a mess and I don't think they realise the world is getting bored of the nuclear threats aswell. If they can't afford to mine bitcoin, they most certainly can't afford a war with several world major powers. Looks like the nuclear card is quite apparent a guise to try and extort but we already knew that anyways.
