[Method] How to Use LinkedIn to Generate Leads

Hello my fellow Internet Marketers!

We know that marketers are using Social media, Webinars, Videos, Email, Website forms, customer referrals and lead databases to get qualified leads.

Today let’s discuss how LinkedIn (social media) can be used as a tool for generating leads.

Based on your audience and your goals you can choose LinkedIn to generate your leads through running ads with lead gen forms.

LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms:

I sometimes run my lead gen strategy using LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms as they are designed to provide maximum convenience for both users and marketers. When these forms are presented to a LinkedIn member, the fields are already populated with their profile data, which reduces the time to fill out form and increases your chances of conversion.

If you are new to LinkedIn, I’m giving you a simple 4 steps process to start your B2B lead generation process:

1. Create or Select a Lead Gen Form Template

Go to LinkedIn Campaign Manager, navigate to the Account Assets tab and select “Lead Generation Forms.” You can then click “Create new form template. And Fill out the provided fields.

2. Create a Sponsored Content or Sponsored InMail Campaign

Lead Gen Forms are integrated with these two LinkedIn ad options. You can either serve the ad alongside content in member feeds (Sponsored Content) or directly to their LinkedIn inbox (Sponsored InMail).

3. Enter a Destination URL

You can include a URL to download your asset, or register for your webinar, or reach another destination. You can also use this opportunity to clearly outline when or how they might expect to hear from you.

4. Select a CTA Button

Your final step is choosing the button members will click on in the thank you message in order to travel to the destination URL.

Conclusion

LinkedIn is constantly evolving, so keep an eye on it. As it continues to grow, people will find new and smarter ways to utilize it. You’ll want to be there, ready to dive in and generate leads. Vice versa you can use automated leads prospecting tools which will save you time and resources.

Hope to hear from you and share your knowledge

Hasta la vista!
