for context im in high school in australia, for the last 3-4 years ive been trying to make money online, working so hard trying everything. I most centered around the affiliate space, once got offered a $10,000 month contract for email subscribers lead gen, guy wanted to hop on a call, i felt like he would decline the contract just bc of my age. The only money ive ever made in these years is $1000 in a locked paypal account. ive made money from viglink, they are trustworthy and pay but they take so long and it wasnt reliable income. since then i used yazing( never ever use) i promoted an offer , from memory i generated like $3000 in commissions, but one day i went to log into my account and i had been banned, for no reason, support is hopeless, ive dabbled with startups, recruitment agencies, social media marketing’. i feel like the pandemic fucked me over aswell because i was selling shoutouts on instagram for $40 a piece in the early months of 2020 getting like 2 a week but then after the pandemic hit, noone wanted to buy shoutouts anymore. As to what im doing now, i run 3 blogs www.realestateye.com l, womenwillknow.com, menwillknow.com and carsguides.org, i am trying to monetize them to make a living online. But im running out of hope, of motivation i feel directionless and like i dont know what to do, i turn to blackhatworld because i fee other people on this forum have experienced the same as me, i feel like i have wasted my time, but i have developed many skills that landed me a short term job, i just need advice, am i goung in the right direction?

Ask yourself these questions. Do you have:
capital?
experience?
attention of other people?

If you can't answer any of the above, your chances of developing a successful business are close to zero.
You need to start looking for SEO internship or marketing internship cause that's what seems promising to you.

It's good you joined BHW. You'll find motivation and direction from other people's journeys. Just read and take action. You have already done a lot if you generated income. You need to join reliable affiliate programs. And continue learning, even though it sometimes may seem pointless. Good luck.

Your websites are f****d up. Not only they look broken. They also can't be accessed without typing "www" before domain name. There seems to be a very random strategy and lack of any reliable marketing.
Do you know what a heading is? https://backlinko.com/seo-copywriting

I find in life, when trying to make money, everything is trial an error. For instance I was doing paid advertising before the pandemic, then started investing into cryptocurrencies because I knew that after the market crash in March 2020 that it was the best time to get into any market. I am still trying to get back into internet marketing but other ventures are kinda holding me back due to them being profitable. You are very young and what I would tell someone my age currently trying to pursue money via internet marketing is most people are sheep and have conventional wisdom. That is why you are able to advertise sometimes garbage affiliate items and still make money. Learn as much as you can not just this forum but other places to find out ways to make money. Being a victim of circumstances, I got screwed to the point where I had to start from point one in early 2017 and now I am at a place where I barely recovered what I lost. I also suggest looking at some of Alex Becker's old videos before he became a crypto "guru".

Hmmm... I would wait couple more years. Maybe age has something to do with it. Maybe when you are before your 20's, business isn't the best thing to focus on? Education always wins when you are young. Even if you can't afford much, you'll be happier with that choice of educating yourself.

alex beckers videos make sense and he actually gives good advice, like being undestracted

Him and Sam Ovens have good mindset videos. I know Sam Ovens had Alex as a student in his Mastermind

You are in high school and bear in mind, almost no one in high school would have earned how much you've earned so far, so do not be dejected.
Just keep researching and keep trying new things the way you've always been doing. As long as you work hard AND smart, you will keep creating opportunities for yourself. You seem to be a true hustler, so never give up, just keep going.

It depends on how you educate yourself. If you go to college for the sole purpose of having a "college experience" then you are most likely not learning about anything and waisting time when forums like this exist for the sole purpose of knowledge and education about ways to make money online.

hmmm. He is not gaining any special knowledge in here. He is struggling and doing things he doesn't have to. His best path would be going to college for the sake of getting a degree that overlaps with his interests. Getting self taught in affiliate marketing is not really worth avoiding normal life.

So why are you on this website lol?

Go to Facebook and complain about your coworkers in your dead end job.

I don't think you really understood what I said. We are humans and we want to be safe, alright? That's why we want to have skills that will land us as many job opportunities as possible. Hence throwing all possible skills in sales, finance, biz, marketing and development that you can learn by getting hired is the worst idea you can have. Your $5 a day will not make you happy if you cannot afford basic expenses. You can earn and learn while working for someone, then use your knowledge in practice.

You should register your domain names and verify your ideas meanwhile but it cannot be what you will focus on all the time. Without the skills in areas I listed, you will have issues with everything, including $5 fiverr gigs.

Yea I see but PPC and SEO are very good skills to have which can be used to get a job.

You say you are still at school.
So I guess you don’t have an expenses. Guess you ain’t got a wife and kids and a mortgage. Hahaha.
Unless you have any of these then don’t get disheartened. You are under no pressure only what you put on yourself.
If you are doing things then you are learning. Doing things wrong and fucking up is still learning (as long as you see your mistakes and learn from them.)
Life is all about learning. And I believe you learn more by doing that any school will ever teach you.

It depends - if you live in a T1 country that has a living cost of like $2K/month, you have better chances feigning a mental illness and getting on welfare. IM is hard as fuck.

Lol in some European countries, the government will feed you if you have something like depression.

I haven't had a local job in almost decade, been living off of IM money, but I'm not in a T1 country.

Things can go sour easily. Especially if you forget to communicate with other people and go retarded.

The feeling of directionless comes from indecisiveness, not knowing what you want. Everyone is built for something. Some are meant to be soldiers and some are meant to be bankers and some are TikTok dancers. What are you built for?

Working online and becoming self-employed is one of the hardest professions in the world. It seems easy by not everyone can do it. So decide if this lifestyle is for you or not? I think you're pretty determined to work online since you didn't give up even after 4 years. Good thing is that you never fail at IM. You just learn. And you're still young. You still have a lot of time to learn.

Don't try to do everything. Choose one thing that is working right now. Don't try to invent things. Ask yourself what is it that you can do with the knowledge and resources that you already have. Choose one tried and tested method and dedicate yourself for the next 2 years to that thing.
  • Ask yourself why do you have 4 sites?
  • Why none of those have any indexed pages on google?
  • Why do your sites have absolutely zero backlinks? Ask yourself.
  • Why are you trying to build sites in the real estate and automotive niche when everyone knows it's almost impossible to rank without a budget.
One successful blog can make anywhere from a few hundred to 10k a month and even more for some people. So why don't you try to build one site that can generate enough traffic and money for you? Once you have a stable income then you can easily chase your other ideas.

You can only assume young people have to develop their thinking first.

People are buying sites even if they aren't making any money, so you could try selling some of them and focus on your favorite one with a bigger budget.
