You got to be careful as you can get a TCPA lawsuit against you depending on what you plan on doing whether promoting affiliate marketing or your own business.

Honestly it's close to impossible because even if you opt in with people, they can still send a litigation letter or lawsuit where you will have to pay 500-1500 per violation which will be per text. When I get affiliate texts and don't follow up with them, the link stops working after a day or two meaning that the company that the affiliate is promoting has gotten a letter.

Although the cost is less as compared to other marketing methods but these days the attention is very less in SMS marketing.
Better alternative would be Whatsapp Marketing or through other messaging platforms.
