I have a domain with a exact keyword in it example: www.car-tyres.com

Should I start a affiliate website on it? On the domain it is possible to sell because if people search for the keyword they want to buy something. The domain age is +3 years. It has between 50k and 100k monthly searches.

Any ideas?

thanks

the domain has no links and never been used,
in SEO point of view, it's worthless,
EMD doesn't give such a big boost for competitive keywords and would only work for micro niche websites with low to no competition
try to sell or use the domain for the sake of the brand name

The domain isn't worth anything if it isnt authorative. On its own its just a domain

The niche is not so competive

I'd stay away if it's a product name

It will limit your site's capability to expand, in terms of content ideas

Gone are the days when EMDs are important as they used to be. If the domain itself doesn't have a powerful backlink profile it is worthless.

However, if you have the budget to build a site on it, and if the domain is clean (make sure to check archive.org as well) you could build a domain on it as EMDs still play a role in CTR. Otherwise, you could just try and sell it.

Budget is not a problem, the domain is clean and there is no backlink profile. My competitors don't have a lot of backlinks

Not wise to use for logrun. You will suffer the anchor text issue too.
