Hello BHW. My question is: Is Google Entity Stacking even worth spending time on? I get the idea behind it. Has anyone had any beneficial results?

Maybe to get links indexed?

Lots of articles out there claiming it works. I just don't see why Google would even consider this as a ranking factor. Too easy.

Best way to find out is to test.

It is likely to help index a webpage, which in turn may help that page to rank for a low competition keyword.

Without additional links to the entities, there is not likely to be much power in the structure.

Right on. Thanks!

Thank you so much for helping me figure this out.

Yes, I do them all the time. They do help push link authority, plus they can rank all by themselves.

Google stacking is still not anything you can do quickly or easily. You may end up with some of your own results stacked in the search result collection if you build enough signal strength across the range of SEO for enough pages on a platform that fit with a particular search query.
