Will customer service pop-ups affect CLS?

Hi guys, I just wonder the customer service pop-ups as you can see in the pic can affect Google's CLS score?

if it is above the fold, you should worry. still, why don't you test it with or without the pop-up?

Again, I read the article sent by @fb3003 , and thanks, it has done great help(i know it's has nothing to do with the pop-ups on my site). And, I still don't know to solve the problem, I wonder if anyone know more specific ways to fix the CLS problem.

If it pops up above the content it shouldn't affect the CLS. The CLS is only for elements within the content that shifts everything around.

adding a delay before showing them up will solve the problem in all cases

Usually chats doesnot impact CLS. But I had 1 case, when CLS appeared because of poorly coded chat. You should test it in lighthouse, or show website address I will check it.
