[Journey] Building an iOS & Android App Empire

Update:

Its been some time since I gave an update. Mostly everything has been like it was in the last update. The daily earnings decreased a bit, could be because of the niche itself or also because summertime is going to begin and people spend more time outdoor.

Just yesterday I wanted to update two apps and a few hours ago the whole developer account got removed. I just wanted to add mediation to the apps.

So guys, if I can give you ONE golden advice: Avoid updating apps, which got previously deleted on other accounts. Implement mediation right from the beginning so you have full control over what ads you are showing to the people. I made the mistake and only implemented FAN. So, I thought I could add mediation and use Google admob. FAN had a fill rate of 70% so I already lost 30% revenue and they also have a lower ecpm. Its better than nothing and it is definitely better than dealing with Admob, which are suspending accounts so easily. Mediation like Appodeal are your best bet to have full control over your earnings and what ads you show WITHOUT publishing updates on the Play Store.

So yeah...you don't need to make the same mistake I did and hopefully you can learn one or two things from my failures.

- Avoid updating apps (you previously had on other accounts, which got deleted)
- Implement Mediation right from the beginning to have full control over ads and earnings
- Avoid logging into your developer account once you got the app published

same has happened with me earning went down also i have more than 300$+ in admob , hopefully i get payment on 21st so scared man and FB is bad but pays , it has low cpm and low fill rate , what bidding platform are u using coz audience network dont have anything built so they are telling to go with partners ?

Reviews are mostly important for social proof. They help to make a decision. CTR will be higher if an app has a shit ton of great reviews, same as CTR will be super low if the app has a very low rating. And the better the CTR, the better the rankings. So what you want to do is keep the best possible rating, the more ratings the better. If your app only has 5 reviews and average 3 stars, get yourself like 20 reviews with 5 stars to get it average to 4.5 or more.
So, if I understand correctly you get reviews for your apps to rise rankings. Do you buy them on keyapp.top or for example incentivize your facebook group users to write reviews? Anyway I guess it may also be a reason why u get bans, getting lot of reviews suddenly looks fishy for google.

Congratulations on your success. Where did you learn mobile app programming? What websites or courses for example. Thanks!

Can you share a screenshot of your earning if you don't mind. I'm just getting back into reskinning apps and I want to see an example of how profitable it is right now. I was making around 300$ a day in around 2016 with only 4 android apps. One of them was making more than 70% of the profit even though it's the worst in my opinion. I hear google got out of control in these last years. Do you have any other advice you can share with us russian bro?

For Android apps FAN is still working normally until now. For iOS I am using Appodeal.

how to get 100$ day on apps?
By monetizing them?

Nope, the reviews are 100% real by the actual users who downloaded the app. I never bought or paid for reviews. The reason my app got banned is crooked competition, mainly from Thailand and India. They mass report apps with a high ranking. In Germany, I could sue the shit out of them, but in these countries, there is no law enforcement and no one gives a fuck. Its Google's fault tho. Since I blocked those countries I never had any problem again.

Mostly YouTube and blogs. All information available for free there.

Hi nakamura,

How do you find potential niches to build apps on? Could you pleas elaborate on the process of finding niches on the app store and tools you use to do so?

Thank you.

Sorry mate, this is not a course, tutorial, how to or anything like this. This is a journey thread and I am updating the thread with my experiences, the process, earnings, etc.

If you want to learn how to find niches or what tools to use, I am sure YouTube has some great videos on these topics

Bro if your apps contain any copyright you should not update it. Thats the basic rule for survival.

Now this is my 3rd developer account after 2 have been banned. I already got about 60 apps but now already have 2 suspension. After getting apps suspension for 2nd time I stop uploading new apps.

I also dont update the apps and now already consistent 40$/day. But I never knew when will i be banned lated.

Good luck bro,
can you suggest some niches ? I think fitness and quotes are better

Very inspiring journey bro. I wish you all the best.
Recently I started making apps and try to monetize them. Currently I'm using flutter as the framework. With the FAN's new mediation, I found its its difficult to monetize. Currently which ad network are you using for your flutter apps ?

any clue to set the interval for ads units bro pocong ih seram

Just a casual update because it has been some time:

Earnings:
Still earning around $100 per day + in-app purchases (in total so far $300 from an app I uploaded last month) with $0 spent for ads.

Tomorrow I am going to upload another promising iOS app.

What else?

Two developer accounts got suspended (not a big problem, because the apps were not making a lot revenue tho). The main reason for this was I updated two apps of those two developer accounts at the same time and somehow they figured out the accounts belong together. Could be possible it has something to do with one of the SDKs I updated. I did some research on it and I am pretty sure. Now I created a new developer account, uploaded the app with an older SDK and see what is going to happen.

Something new?

At the moment I am doing the math and try to scale ad revenue for one Android app. I am running Facebook and Google ads for app installs. From what I can see right now I have a profit margin of around 20-30%.

I will probably make a new post/thread with a case study on how to maximize ad revenue, app installs, ad campaigns and scale an app to make more money.
