[Guide] How to use Expired Domains effectively

I have bought an expired domain name about a week ago but already uploaded my content and the content are now indexed and I already connected the webmaster, can i delete my sites content and start over from the start using your method? my new published content has a DA of 18 and PA of 21 that's why i kept going?

Great points, agree to all of the points you mentioned.

One more addition from me in response to this question:
How do I know if my expired domain is ready to use?

I'd wait if some of the historical keywords of the expired domain (preferably long tail ones) appear on GSC, then I'd use it for my money site as it's a very good sign for me.

Hey mate, thanks for the helpful guide.

I have one question: If I find a expired domain, can I use their content directly?

4. Reindex the old backlinks

This step can be a little tricky and determines if your site will be one of the 95% successful future money sites/PBNs or if it will fall in to the 5% which you can always use for something to make money from!
  • Personally I use a combination of Speed Links indexer and twitter or other social media to get Google to recrawl the authority sites pages which are linking to my expired domain.
This can take time, so be patient.
How exactly to re-index the old backlink with social media share:

Share the page in to social media that have a backlink to my expired domain?

Thank you and sorry for very newbie question :)

Edit: The answer is YES (after I re-read the given guide)

Anyone can explain this step plz?

Why do we have to reindex the old backlinks? If the old backlinks are in quality, especially from the authority websites, they should not be deindexed by G, should they?

If they are deindexed, mostly they are crap in low quality, and not even worth reindexing, isn't it?

Correct me plz if anything I stated wrong.

THANKS

Can I change the URL structure?
The old URL structure from the expired domain was very confusing.

So you’re telling me if I buy an expired domain and create a new site without using the steps you outlined, there is absolutely no difference or benefit over using a new domain?

Can you direct me to the place where you bought your domain, please?

An excellent guide, needless to say.
Regarding changing niches from a previously expired domain, your approach is to simply treat it like it were a fresh new domain.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Then, what is the point of having an expired domain?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

What if you want to continue use of expired domain?
Like you know upgrade few things such as metas, onsite things, increase metrics, generate more traffic and monetize, or sell it?
Is it something no one does and the best way is to either redirect, or make a new content?
How do you rebuild content based on CMS? For example wordpress? Thuz wordpress store all informations about sites, posts in .php database it's quite impossible to make 1:1 site with wayback machine and continue improvement of these sites without manually rebuilding it. Am I right?
Also how do you generate site map for this domain?

Great info! Is there an info on how to buy a good clean and still backlinks active expired domains?

Amen.

Exactly how it's done.

This is how you make money online kids, you honestly don't need much else.

I disagree with the:

I disagree too.

Don't believe the SEO literature that says that expired domains don't work as effectively anymore. I have observed this is 100% not the case. Doing some analysis for my affiliate sites to see if I could build something in the finance vertical in Australia and there was one site which seem to shoot out of nowhere called harmoneyDotComDotAU ranking for competitive terms like

online loans
cash loans
personal loans

to name a few and had hardly any content on the ranking pages and fairly average onsite overall. I looked into their backlink profile and came across these backlink sites (there's quite a few more but studying these will give you an idea of how to structure these sites so they don't look like they are related to one another):

allbackpackersDotComDotAU
amaze-n-placeDotComDotAU
ballet2013DotComDotAU
productiveageingDotComDotAU
bestofwaDotComDotAU
camusrestaurantDotComDotAU
studyaustraliaDotComDotAU
twolostboysDotComDotAU
cleverpollysDotComDotAU

Sites are built out nicely but it's obvious what they are doing on inspection. Key thing is to not trust the naysayers saying expired domains is an outdated strategy. This is a classic example to show that the strategy is alive and still incredibly effective even in competitive niches. One smart thing that we can learn from this is not fall into the temptation of putting lots of outbound links on the site. Another take out is to look at other TLDs for expired domain opportunities. Hats off to these guys for how they are executing, Google is too dumb to work these even considering how many of these sites they've deployed.
