when I am at the store and I take out a $100 bill from my wallet and give it to the cashier, when I leave the store I think "was that 2 bills stuck together? shit, I just gave her $200." then I am depressed for the rest of the day because I wasted $100.
when I am driving, I try to be alert and pay attention to the road at all times. but sometimes, like everyone else, I day dream while driving. Then suddenly I am like "shit, I dont even know if that light was green. did I just run a red light?"
sometimes I think "did I hit someone without realizing it?" for example the other day I was backing up and a few minutes later I thought "wait a second, I didn't look behind me when I was backing up, was there a person behind me? shit, did I hit someone without realizing it?"

right now I am pissed because today I gave a cashier a $100 bill and....you know the rest.

Unless you are always drunk or taking shrooms it seems you are extremely anxious person, try to be less anxious I think w therapist can help

This is me 100%. I don't know why it happens to me.

Stop using bills and star using debit cards, so you will be sure about what you paid.

Sounds like you're living life mostly on autopilot. I've got 4 tips for you. Give each of them a try and see what works for you.

1. First I would recommend switching up your daily routine. Try some activities that you don't usually do to break out of the zombie brain fog you're feeling.

2. Also, as lame as it might sound, I believe starting daily 15-minute meditation might help you feel more grounded in life.

3. A strange exercise that helps me feel more connected to life is spending a little time barefoot on the earth. Just walk on some grass with your bare feet for a while. Not sure if this is a placebo or not but I always feel much better after doing this.

4. If you're not opposed to trying a supplement I would recommend a lions mane ground mushroom pill daily. (500-1000mg) It's non-psychoactive and there have been several studies now on its memory-enhancing properties in rats and people with Alzheimers. It doesn't have a tolerance buildup so you can take it daily and after a few weeks, you'll be having repressed memories about childhood events pop up out seemingly nowhere. This one mushroom has enhanced my life and some of my friends so much I would highly recommend it to anyone with a bad memory.

That's all I have for you. Good luck! Hope you find your connection back to life soon. Living in a cloud of fog is no fun.

I don't think so bro, to me it feels more like OCD.

firstly it ok you don't need to worry , i think you have OCD (may i am wrong)
check this video from TED :

if you are able to visit psychologist it will be great and you will understand better ,
my friend have it too and it different from person to other ,
don't wait or care for other to understand you , they will say just don't think about it or forget but in fact it more hard to control it ,

it very important to check psychologist then read internet articles or video ,no one can tell you 100% what you have except him .
you can do it bro try to keep yourself positive .
