This is old news, managed payments was introduced a while back and it’s gonna be mandatory on all new accounts. I’m soon to quit ebay for good.

Buyers can still pay with PayPal if they wish. It gets processed by another company then you get paid into your bank a couple of days later.

Dodgy dealings? You must be on a different site. Ebay will side with the buyer no matter what. They outright rob sellers all the time.

I'm glad you're in favor of more of that. Just like when Amazon lowered commission rates.

This is old news, the email was sent out a couple of months back that the change was coming. You can still pay for stuff, it's just better for sellers as it's direct bank account payments.

PayPal is dead in India. We can't use our PayPal balance to purchase and they want us to use our card so they can also earn with forex conversion.

I wish we can also have an account in USD so all these charges can be saved.

eBay is already dead here.

careful what you wish for, I heard with ebay managed payments they are much more strict than paypal, and suspend, then permanently hold your funds.
