I'm managing my subreddit for a couple days, and I just can't get any members. Maybe my topic is not true, maybe I need to pick more general topic. What were your tactics? (If It's not secret) I would like to know them.

Crosspost quality content into larger subreddits, drop your sub's link under popular posts in relevant subreddits, invite people into your community in the mobile app. It's easier to grow if your niche is broad and has plenty of related bigger subreddit to get traffic from.
