I gave an “seo guy” access to my gmb dashboard he changed the phone number, company name, and website. The only edit that google let me do is delete the website. It won’t let me change the phone number back, add back my real website, or change the company name back. I support my family from this listing, I am the owner of the listing still. Google support is taking forever to get back with us so I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any advice or could take a look at it and see if I’m missing anything maybe the “seo guy” added something I’m not seeing. Preventing me from making edits. Please help if you are knowledgeable. Thank you!

Can you still contact this so called SEO guy?
The business name was changed, the phone number was changed, and they created a free google website and added it. I was able to remove the from the listing, also change the tag and remove the google assistant they are using to answer the calls. There was no address change as far as I know. I removed (hidden) the address a long time ago because we provide a mobile service and don’t have a brick and mortar location.
No they are using my gmb apparently to steal my work.

From where did you get this seo guy?
A Facebook group. When I go to change the phone number i keep clicking apply and it will not apply only option is to click cancel. After I click apply so many times it tells me I have made too many edits. Even though nothing has been changed.
Also when I try to change the website I click apply and it just makes a red box outline around the url. The website has my correct phone number on it so I think that may be why it’s not letting me change it maybe until the phone number is changed. I opened a case with google support but they have been dragging their feet for a week now and I am not working because this is where I get my work from.
