You're just wasting your time, it won't work even if you get included in the Google News index it is not a guarantee that your pdf links will be indexed. And if you are able to index your pdf links using your news sites, your evil competitors will just ddos your news site until it is down. There is a better method of indexing your pdf links.

its hilarious that when someone mentions this google news method some guy comes and says "don't waste your time" then also adds "there is a better method" without giving a clue or saying anything else.

First forget about your 1000 posts , coz google news index just the last 48h articles , then you need to follow google news policy.
If you want to get approved in few days move your wp to site.com/news/ and use <article> to get indexed quickly.
For the pdf method use <embed with doc google viewer.

I'm creating google news sites right now because they are useful as well for other methods.. @Coke Original just told a different method anyway, if you check the pdf files you often can see how they are indexing them with ahrefs, it's not rocket science.

I have 7 news sites that I have been using in the last few months, sure they can index pdf links but indexing is not enough. If you want to rank, you need to be able to index your pdf links 15 to 30 minutes after they're uploaded, if you won't be able to make that speed in indexing, your pdfs will be wasted. Any noob can index their pdf links in 4 to 6 hours but that is useless because you will not rank that way. And Aherfs is useless here because it can't see backlinks that are just a few minutes or a few hours old, the backlinks that you see in Aherfs are old links, links that are useless if you copy them. Backlinks that worked last week are not sure to work today, that's how it is now. You don't need Aherfs to discover all the secret links that the toppers use. If you really know how to use Google, that's the only tool that you'll ever need to spy on your competitors' backlinks.
Yes, news sites that are indexed in GN will help you index your pdfs but that is just half of the whole equation, without the other half your efforts are useless.
I am not saying that this is the case for every niche out there, this applies only to the gaming niche (CPA). If you are working for the movies niche (CPA), Google has a slightly different dynamics with that niche so the indexing and ranking process is quite different. If you've worked long enough trying to rank parasites for CPA traffic, you must have noticed the different patterns in Google's attitude towards different niches.

looking into those "useless" links that we can find with ahrefs i have found the websites that still work and some people are still using.. indexing a pdf in 4 or 6 hours may not contribute to the "freshness" of the post but is still useful for someone like me that wants to use them for other niches and not for CPA hacks and generators. Ofc if you know how to use google operators you can find their strategy that's out of the question. In regards to indexing, any site that is on google news and offers the possibility for user generated content can be exploited for this as well.

Okay, good luck on your news sites. When Google News finally accepts your site into their fold, don't get too excited and expect that your pdf links will be indexed. Being in GN is not a guarantee that your pdf links will be indexed. Google has a different attitude in every niche, what works in the gaming niche will not work in another niche, in some niches PDFs do not rank. If you are seeing pdfs ranking in your niche then go for pdfs. But the life span of pdfs are short, that is also a problem.

I usually don't get excited with anything. Google News Sites are useful for many reasons, even for client websites.. pdf method is a good way to make thousands quickly if you know how to be consistent, different things.

I'm just using it to boost install my android apps, its pretty magic .
Most of them are number three , but never went to number 1.
For ranking I cloned a new news company website.
I use auto blog from their rss + some fresh video from YouTube and Now they are behind me in ranking I'm sure they are crying now.
