$100K Dropshipping Story (Long Read)

I just read your story. Very motivating! I have a dropshipping Shopify store that I need to drive traffic to.
Anyone care to critique my store? Pm me so I don’t jack dudes thread.

I know I'm reviving an old thread...
I just read ALL 12 PAGES!

There are some great nuggets in here and in many instances, detailed information that most posters won't share.

@Crazycam727 - Brilliant Work, thank you for sharing all the detail you did!

So, almost 10 months on since I posted this, I realised something , and I’d be a fool if I didn’t share it.

The business model I’ve mentioned on this thread, utilising google shopping works. And it works really well.

The only issue is, if you get banned, your store will grind to a halt. And I know that for a fact, because it happened to me.

So, if you see success with this strategy, you should absolutely capitalise on it whilst you can.

But actively learn something on the side, that can replace or eclipse the income you’re earning.

Because, chances are that you’ll get banned too.

My mistake was, I got lazy and didn’t do that. So when I got banned, I went back to square one and didn’t make a single $ for 6-7 months.

That being said, I’m learning and making progress everyday and will soon be back at those kinds of numbers. So even if worst comes to worst and you get “stopped in your tracks”, you’ll always be able to make more money.

As long as you don’t quit. :)

Was reading your journey from the beginning to now, I feel you really did a great job. To scale that up from knowing nothing is something to be reckon. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing.

Wanted to find out if there any extensions or apps out there that will help you find trending products more easily, right now I am guessing the products and cross referencing with the google search volume.

Will be interested to find out if there are a easier and quicker way to that

I'm not so sure, because remember that when using those apps, thousands/millions of other people are too.

So I think people need to reframe their thought process. Instead of "winners", try find "useful/unsaturated"

Hey, awesome post. I was wondering how exactly do you use the Google filters because I have his course and I'm still confused on that part.

I haven't used that method in quite a while. Although if I recall correclty, you have to go into the specific "Shopping" tab on google, then just test filters from there.

I read this, the thing that really rings true to me is stick with one system and use it. I get fustrated and try something else, when really I just needed to adjust something. I have a great long post about dropshipping but it only ends with me losing money so far lol

Hey, I was wondering if what tips do you have as far as picking products? I have Charlie's course and yet still having a problem picking products.

How do you get accepted to the wso
downloads
Hmmmm, I'm not sure what you mean?

Back when I downloaded that course, I didn't need to get accepted.

But, you can find a lot of Dropshipping courses in this forum. :)

Indeed a great story. Start from literally zero is always very hard. Not to mention you still have other responsibility (School). I could learn a lot from your story. Thank you for sharing.

I love this post because it's so inspiring for several reasons, but one really sticks out above the rest and I think everyone reading should let this fact sink in before they throw their hands up in dismay:

OP had 50+ stores before seeing profits. Not 5 failures, not 10 or 20, but FIFTY PLUS. That's amazing tenacity and sheer willpower and patience on his part. I can't say that I'd have been as persistent myself in the face of such adversity. Great post OP.

What I take from this is that the main key to real success is not giving up and continuing to be willing to learn, grow, and make necessary modifications when needed.

And that is applicable and can be extrapolated to any form of business, not just dropshipping.
