So, I am in a situation where over 4000 local businesses have be manually contacted through their website forms within a week.
But no responses and its been almost a week. We have sent an average of 750 to 1000 forms daily.
Strange thing is not even a single email saying no thanks or an angry one also.
I think maybe these are going to spam folder.
What are your experiences with contact forms?
Also does contact form sending impact the sender domain reputation?

It probably sounds silly but did you make sure that the email address you wanted them reply on is active and doesn't have any typos? Like you said, you should have got some auto responses and hate mail after submitting 4000 forms.

There is no typo and the reply email is working fine. I have tested it already and contact form mail landed in my inbox.
And the reply sent was also received. Can't figure out what the issue is.

I forgot to mention initially that we are getting autoresponder replies like thanks for contacting us bla bla....
And also plenty of DMARC messages, IDK about this DMARC thing but is it anything bad or what?

Same problem here. Lots of auto replies but no responses or even hate mail. Started happening in January. I tried changing VPN providers, using different proxies, etc but still the same problem. I think the anti spam organisations have figured out a footprint that submitters like GSA leave behind and have blocked it. We still get the auto replies because they're triggered by a script running on the site. The problem is that your actual message is then blocked by spam filters once it hits the sit admins email account. Not sure how to solve this problem other than changing your ad message every 1000 messages or so.

Tried contact form spamming a long time ago and results have always been poor just like the one reported here in this thread.
I sent 4000 once and got maybe 2 replies back and a flood of automated replies.

I doubt it was sucessful, maybe it was but as soon as it was dying the public learned about it.

yeah, i think the other issue is that lockdowns have taken their toll on consumer confidence in general. I'm hearing lots of complaints from online businesses advertising on search, native and other places as well. I think the issue is that everyone is stuck at home so they figure why not try to become an online millionaire. It's saturating the entire online business industry. Hopefully many of these people will eventually give up and things will return to normal.
