A man in Australia was sentenced to 10 months for filming dying cops and mocking them as they lay there dying.
Because he was held in prison he will be set free in a few days.
He did not call for help and fled the scene.
But equally he did not kill them.

Most countries have a law of somekind that if someone is dying it is imperative to help them. Regardless of their ocupation, if someone is dying and you can help, you should, else you are a prick.

Not sure if I would agree with jailing him.
But, based on my own standards, the guy is a complete prick and has low standards. (probably there more to the story than what media really lets on)
Regardless if it was police or not lying there half dead, should do the right thing and call the ambulance.
& If he didn't want to do that, mocking them is just ...

Yes I believe it’s called the Good Samaritan law.
There was cases where someone was dying and loads of people pulled out their phones and filmed it and not one of them rang for help because they thought the other person was doing it.

Yup, I woulda called regardless even if It looks like someone else did.
Not to seek a medal or honors or any gratitude but simply because, that person also has a family/friends to go home to that night, they would for sure miss them if they did pass away.
When they could of been saved.
Doesn't take much to be a decent human being.

I do love the way that when you do something bad in this day and age you automatically blame mental problems.
He drove a Porsche and was a mortgage broker so it wasn’t like he didn’t like a normal life because of mental problems.
People blaming mental issues for their wrong doing only makes it harder for people with genuine issues.

I agree (so the judge it seems), but this man acting this way for sure had "genuine issues" as well - a normal person wont be reacting this way. Psychopathy doesn't prevent someone to succeed in the business world, quite the opposite - most of the big ass CEOs have such tendencies.
