can i use a mobile phone as proxy server?

You can set it up at your home's network and you will be able to use your network's IP address anywhere. You can also connect to the proxy server from a mobile internet enabled device

Not sure about phones but you could do that with a raspberry pi and a sim card for sure. Good part is that a RP would cost you 1/10th of what you would pay for a phone. Google it for more.

Yes , I ran a proxy BST here based on proxies I made from mobile phones. I still use them for private use now.

You don’t need a raspberry pi for a mobile phone as a proxy server. Raspberry pi is another way to make proxies.

i think its better of buying a proxy server cause its will be local and private for me... its will cost me 5$ sim card for a month and can buy used android phones or new cheap one...

You can get hardware for your sim as an access point and tether 4g that way without crappy hotspot drops.

A few years ago used an app on cydia that allowed you to use any ios based device as a router. Not sure about android.
