The comment about old age pensioners bleeding the system is a head turner. I knew the number of people bleeding the system was staggering, but never thought about how they are living so much longer, and thus bleeding the system that way. We've all been prepared for the reality of a pension-less retirement though, so I guess the details aren't all that important.

Loved the list. Definitely gets the ol' creative juices flowing. Combine the aging population straining the system with the advancement of online learning. This could create a new market for people of much older ages returning to learn new skills to support themselves during "retirement". Those mods over at the 50plus forums best gear up.
