Doing $15k+ a month, now how do I scale?

Hi again!

It's me, I did post about my journey earlier this year and I'm now on the second month of doing $15k in dropshipping. I mostly sell my items on marketplaces like Etsy, but I wish to get more of that sales from my own website. I would say about 80% is Etsy and 20% is my own website.
I had some guys help me with FB ads, but that only turned a 1.2x ROAS, so it felt like I was just flushing cash down the toilet. I'm not very good at FB ads, I had some luck but I put that on chance. I also have some good sales on Google Shopping Ads, but here also I haven't really scaled it.

I don't really know where to go from here, we have around 40-50% profit margin and the items are high-end and cost around $100-$200 each, so I'm starting to have some cash I can spend on marketing. But I've waisted money before on things that did not bring in sales, so I'm afraid to do it again... Any tips?

How are you marketing your store right now? Also what kind of EPC are you getting, like if you get 100 visitors to your site, does that result in $50-100 in profits for you? If you can answer this, i might have a good suggestion for you.

I checked one of your threads and you mention that buyers come mostly from organic search, Google shopping ads and Facebook ads.

Since Etsy is your main source, I'd try and invest in Etsy ads. You can direct your buyers to your website in the future but including promo material when you send out orders, give them discount codes, etc.
Don't do it directly on Etsy by messaging people since they might ban you easily.

Are you using any Etsy tools to further optimize your listings?

We have a very low conversion rate because most of our visitors come to the website through SEO. So we are at around 1% there. We also need more relevant visitors + since it's more high ticket items the users tend to have to be sold to through email or seeing and ad more than once.

No, we have 40-50% profit on that $15k.
I have been using Etsy Ads with a varying success, seems to be not so successful when I up it to $100/day, then it's barley break even. I've done all SEO etc myself and that's what drives most of the sales and traffic. Not currently using any other tools.

Social media ads is usually the easiest, maybe try to learn and test more.

You could also look to put banners on forums about your niche or influencers trying your product.

Yes, it's just I'm afraid of waisting money on this. So many "gurus" have different methods.

We already do this, but I also have all the emails of all the buyers from Etsy, so I have around 400 emails actually.

I would suggest go private branding and get an agent to help you on product sourcing, purchasing, warehousing and shipping logistics, etc. so you can focus on the marketing and scaling.

If your site is only making up for 20% of your sales and you have a high priced product why not pump up the PPC to just under break even and drive more traffic and sell more product. Then look at a retention strategy. Focusing on a second and third sale, you can do this through email sequences and increasing your mailing list. Then when you back off on the PPC you will have more customers to market new products to who trust your business.
